this shop keeps track of a few things. here is all of it.
your cart lives in your own browser, in local storage. it never goes to a server until you check out. clearing this site's data empties it.
visits and clicks are counted with tinylytics, which uses no cookies and collects no personal data. it sees which pages get read, where visitors came from, their country and their browser.
the meta pixel runs on every page here. it uses cookies and similar storage so meta (facebook, instagram) can collect information from this site, like which pages you looked at and whether you added a sticker to your cart or bought one. meta and other third parties use that information, along with what they gather elsewhere on the internet, to measure ads and to target and deliver them, including showing sticker ads to people who have visited. meta's cookie policy has the details.
paying happens on square's checkout page, under square's privacy notice. square handles your card. i get the order, your name and shipping address so i can mail the stickers, and your email in case there's a question about the order. i never see your card number, and i don't sell your name, address or email, or give them to anyone.
opting out of ads based on this site:
- on facebook and instagram, change what meta uses to show you ads in your ad preferences.
- for meta and other ad companies at once, use the digital advertising alliance's webchoices tool.
- or block third-party cookies in your browser, or use a content blocker. the stickers still work.
